Lenovo Zuk Edge Launched in China
Lenovo has finally launched Zuk Edge in China. Zuk Edge is the cheapest smartphone in the market to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 processor.
The new Zuk Edge will go on sale from January 1st, 2017 in China. It has been priced at CNY 2299 (roughly Rs.22500) for 4GB RAM variant and CNY 2499 (roughly Rs.24500) for the 6GB Variant.
Lenovo Zuk Edge design is very similar to Zuk Z2 also called Z2 Plus in India. It is basically an enlarged version of Z2 Plus in term of design but the bezels have been trimmed to make it look similar in dimension
The Zuk Edge will be available in Ceramic White and Titanium Crystal Black Colour Variants.
The main highlights of the Zuk Edge is its 2.35 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC with its 5.5-inch full HD TDDI dispaly and corning Gorilla Glass, its USB Type-C (v3.1 port), its under glass U Touch fingerprint sensor, its built in blood oxygen heart rate sensor, pneumatic altimeter and a UV light sensor.
The Lenovo Zuk Edge comes with 4GB or 6GB RAM with 64GB standard storage which is not expandable via micro SD card. The smartphone comes with a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and large 1.34 micron pixel size. It comes with a Samsung ISOCELL image sensor with phase detection auto focus and five element lens. The rear Camera however lacks, OIS, which which should come as a disappointment for those looking to shoot videos with this one. The front camera is of 8MP with f/2.2 aperture and support different beautification modes.
The Lenovo Zuk Edge houses a 3100 mAh battery and supports Qualcomm’s Quick Recharge Technology.
Connectivity options in Zuk Edge include 4G LTE, Wifi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1 and GPS/A-GPS
